Illustrations for Google Pay Tube Challenge
The Google Pay Tube Challenge is a partnership with Transport for London (TfL). Android users who tap for their train rides using Google Pay can collect digital badges, learn about the history of stations, and earn raffle entries for a chance to win prizes.
I was asked to expand Google Pay’s illustration library by creating three types of illustrations: icons, spots, and heroes. These illustrations are designed to maintain a unified and cohesive visual system while enhancing and evolving the existing style. They are implemented throughout the brand's various user experiences, particularly in promotional campaigns including Google Pay Tube Challenge. During my time on the team, I created over 50 final vector illustrations to enrich the visual identity of the brand.
